[ Up ] [ Church in Society Grant Information ] [ The Task Force on Ministry With People Who are Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgendered ] [ What Do We Say About the Separation of Church and State? ]

 

 

 One of the responsibilities for the committee is to administer the Disabled Children’s Assistance Fund, the Elderly Persons' Assistance Fund, and the Mideast Task Force Program Fund for the synod. The Disabled Children's Assistance Fund and the Elderly Person's Assistance Fund receive interest from a Donor Restricted Fund. The Mideast Task Force Program will administer grants from a one-time gift until depletion. 

Congregations may apply for grants from these funds by contacting the Synod Office and requesting an application. Grant guidelines and application forms are also available on the individual grant informational web pages on this web site. 

The Church in Society Committee evaluates requests based on matching funds from the congregation, needs, and congregational stewardship resources.  The disability assistance funds are not available to fund church ramp or elevator projects.
