How does your congregation live out being a mission outpost?

 

The organization known as, Shepherd's Kitchen, opens its doors once a month (on Friday nights), to feed those in and around the Sandy Valley community.  Shepherd's Kitchen supports those individuals in need of a hot meal, great fellowship, loaves of bread and desserts to take home.

 

"We are trying to reach out to those individuals and families in our area that need some support or help.  There are many older residents in the area that just want someone to eat with - share some needed conversation.  There are also families that need a good, hot meal and the support that Shepherd's Kitchen can provide.  We are grateful to be able to provide this opportunity," said Ed Jesse, coordinator of Shepherd's Kitchen/
